Ian Anthony Dale is on the case in 'Murder in the First'

New cop drama premieres tonight on TNT



It's a scientific fact that Ian Anthony Dale is one of the most handsomest dudes on television. If you're interested in conducting more research on this scientific fact, then you'll be interested to know that Mr. Dale is in the new cable detective drama Murder in the First, which premieres tonight on TNT.

Created by Steven Bochco, Murder in the First, follows a pair of San Francisco homicide detectives, Terry English and Hildy Mulligan, as they investigate two seemingly unrelated murders. The mystery deepens, however, when they find both murders have a common denominator in a Silicon Valley wunderkind. The show follows the investigation over the course of one 10-episode season.

Ian stars as Hildy and Terry's superior in the homicide unit, Lieutenant Jim Koto, who is described as "an all-business lieutenant with movie-star good looks and a Stanford degree. He's no-nonsense, clear-thinking and never one to jump to conclusions. Koto is always diplomatic and the ultimate professional, but he possesses a caring heart."

Ian Anthony Dale cast in TNT's Murder in the First

Executive producer Steven Bochco's crime drama to premiere in summer 2014.

Some TV casting news... Just saw that Ian Anthony Dale is in the cast of Murder in the First, a new scripted series picked up by TNT from executive producer Steven Bochco: TNT Orders Steven Bochco Drama Murder in the First.

The cable network as has ordered ten episodes of the crime drama, which is a murder mystery set in San Francisco and Silicon Valley, and will follow a single homicide case across an entire season.

The cast also includes Taye Diggs, Kathleen Robertson, Tom Felton, Mimi Kirkland, Raphael Sbarge, Bess Rous and Steven Weber. Ian will play Lt. Jim Koto, because every cop squad needs a supervisor.

mortal kombat: legacy season two to premiere in 2013



This week, Warner Brothers announced that production on the second season of the hit action web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy is underway, and will premiere exclusively on Machinima in the second quarter of 2013.

Based on the popular fighting video game franchise, the series is directed by Kevin Tancharoen and stars Harry Shum Jr. as Kuai Liang, Casper Van Dien as Johnny Cage, Brian Tee as Liu Kang, Ian Anthony Dale as Scorpion, and Cary Tagawa(!) as Shang Tsung.
