First official look at Jubilee in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'

Lana Condor stars as the fan-favorite teen mutant at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters

And while we're at it, fellow X-fans, here's your first official look at Lana Condor as Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse. (We got an unofficial look when a few set photos leaked earlier this year.)

Jubilee is part of the new generation of students at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Described as "fashionable" -- just look at that totally awesome outfit, complete with the fan-favorite character's signature yellow jacket -- she possesses to the mutant ability to unleash colorful energy bursts.

You know what? I can't wait to see little Asian kids dress up like Jubilee for Halloween.

Rocking a version of the character's iconic Jim Lee-designed ninja costume from the 1990s.

This Week's Cover: First look at the new generation of mutants in X-Men: Apocalypse

Director Bryan Singer's follow up to X-Men: Days of Future Past is touted as a turning point for the mutant movie series, shifting the focus toward younger versions of classic X-characters, circa Reagan era, and pitting them against the big bad mutant villain Apocalypse, who, unsurprisingly, wants to destroy the world.

Psylocke, decked out in a version of her iconic Jim Lee-designed ninja costume from the 1990s, is one of the mutants that Apocalypse recruits as his "Four Horsemen," along with Storm, Angel and Magneto.

What Jubilee might have looked like in the latest 'X-Men' movie

Concept art reveals future Jubilee in 'Days of Future Past'

This hit the web a couple of weeks ago, but it just came across my desk, and it's pretty cool...

Did you watch X-Men: Days of Future Past? She wasn't in it for too long, but Fan BingBing as Blink was pretty darn cool. Next time, more Blink. More Asian X-Men in general. That said, some recently revealed concept art indicates what Jubilee, who didn't make it into Days of Future Past, might have looked like in the movie.

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Concept Art Reveals Future Jubilee

Costume illustrator Philip Boutte Jr. recently posted some concept art for the latest X-Men movie, featuring a variety of alternate designs for Blink, Bishop, Iceman, Storm, Beast and other characters. Cool.

But hold up, his designs also include concepts for the X-Men's Chinese American pyrotechnic mutant Jubilee (who bears a strong resemblance to actress Jamie Chung). It appears the fan-favorite mutant might have been in an early draft of the story, but didn't make it into the final cut of Days of Future Past.

Bingbing and Booboo on Empire's epic X-Men cover(s)

Days of Future Past's Blink and Warpath have got each other's back, teleportation style

Yesterday, Empire Magazine released a gigantic series of 25 covers for its latest issue, each featuring a different character from the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past. If you stick them all together, side-by-side in order, they make one long, super-giant image. (I wonder if anyone's going to buy all 25 covers. Reminds me of the good old days when Marvel launched the multi-cover X-Men #1. Ah, the nineties.)

The much-hyped Days of Future Past, which connects the timeline threads between the original X-Men trilogy and the groovy prequel X-Men: First Class, features a massive ensemble of X-characters, old and new -- including Fan Bingbing as Blink and Booboo Stewart as Warpath, who also each got a cover.

Check them out. If you look carefully, you can see they're actually standing on opposite ends of Blink's teleportation field (the pink swirly circle thing):

Asians in the new X-Men movie trailer!

BooBoo and Bingbing are newest movie mutants in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

20th Century Fox has dropped the first official teaser trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past, the time-twerking prequel-sequel that attempts to bind the entire cluttered mutant movie series together, and presumably based on the classic, seminal comic book story arc of the same name.

The epic new trailer features the return of pretty much every major character from the X-Men screen franchise -- including both past and present versions of Professor Xavier, Magneto and the rest of the gang -- as well as some new faces. Note the quick glimpses of Fan Bingbing and BooBoo Stewart. Check it out:

BooBoo and Bingbing join the X-Men

If you've been following developments around the next X-Men movie, it seems like every other day we're hearing about new additions to the epic, franchise-spanning cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past. The latest actors to join the bulging ensemble include Fan Bingbing and BooBoo Stewart: Booboo Stewart & Fan BingBing Cast In X-Men Days Of Future Past.

Director Bryan Singer recently tweeted a revealing photo of a wall with a multitude of headshots representing the new and returning X-Men: Days of Future Past cast, including a couple of previously unannounced actors -- Chinese actress Fan Bingbing and Twilight actor Booboo Stewart:
