Newspaper runs obituary for Glenn of 'The Walking Dead'

"His bravery in the face of both the Undead and the Brutal Living inspired all who knew him."

By now, if you didn't watch Sunday night's shocking season premiere of The Walking Dead, the internet has already surely somehow spoiled it for you within the last 48 hours. So... there's no way to share this without revealing that one of the hit zombie drama's beloved, fan-favorite characters, Glenn, did indeed die. It was brutal, it was gruesome, and it was deeply upsetting. People are going to be talking about this one for a while.

And people are mourning Glenn Rhee, played by Steven Yeun for six seasons. One Walking Dead fan, paying homage to the fallen hero, wrote an faux obituary (fauxbituary?) for the Batesville Daily Guard, based in Batesville, Arkansas. The piece, which ran in Tuesday's print edition, praised the former pizza deliveryman for his "impeccable moral grounding" and "bravery in the face of both the Undead and the Brutal Living."

Steven Yeun’s Guide to Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse (at the Office)

Also: Looking cool as hell for GQ in a tweed suit.

It's been a long summer for fans of The Walking Dead, but we'll only have to wait a few more days to learn which character met their bloody end at the hands of the villainous Negan. Fans know that Glenn, played by Steven Yeun on AMC's hit undead drama, [SPOILER] dies in the comics, but maybe our favorite Asian American zombie apocalypse survivor will be spared? Hell, I don't even want to know. Put us out of our misery.

In the meantime, check out Steven suiting up in this fun feature for GQ, in which he outlines some important tips for surviving a zombie apocalypse at the office -- and looks sharp while doing it:

If you should ever find yourself fighting off walkers at the workplace, take note of Steven's tips. The guy has survived six season of The Walking Dead (so far), so I think he knows what he's talking about.

We still have no idea who Negan killed on 'The Walking Dead'

But here's a trailer and some images to agonize over.

Over the weekend at the geek fan mecca known as San Diego Comic Con, the cast and crew of The Walking Dead gathered for a panel at Hall H in which nobody was able to say a damn thing about the upcoming season.

When we last left AMC's hit zombie drama, one of our beloved survivors was getting beaten to death by the villainous Negan in a moment that fans had been anticipating and dreading for some time. The season ended on the cruelest of cliffhangers, with most of the core characters -- including Glenn, played by Steven Yeun -- on the possible receiving end of Negan's barbed wire-covered baseball bat.

Yes, there is a strong possibility that it's Glenn, if the show chooses to remain faithful to The Walking Dead comic book's most infamous moment. If you're like me, you're praying to the TV deities that this fate would befall someone, anyone else besides our favorite Asian American zombie apocalypse survivor. But the show's panelists remained tight-lipped, talking about the show in broad strokes out of fear of giving away anything.

They did unveil the Season 7 Comic-Con trailer, which reminds everybody that our heroes are in a pretty bad situation, before revealing some non-Negan-related footage from season seven.

We really hope Michelle Ang survives 'Flight 462'

16-part 'Fear the Walking Dead' miniseries set on a plane during the zombie outbreak.

If you're a fan of AMC's The Walking Dead and its spinoff series Fear the Walking Dead, then you've probably caught Fear the Walking Dead Flight 462. The 16-part mini-series is being rolled out in weekly one-minute episodes on the AMC Mobile App and on-air during premiere episode broadcasts.

Flight 462 follows a group of passengers who experience the earliest moments of the zombie outbreak aboard a commercial plane, and must act when one of the passengers appears to be infected. AMC has announced that one of the survivors of Flight 462 will join the next season of Fear the Walking Dead.

My hope is that survivor is Charlie, played by New Zealand actress Michelle Ang. She already seems to exhibit a little bit of badassness fit for the zombie apocalypse, so my money's on her. Plus, Fear the Walking Dead, the series set in Los Angeles and its environs, really needs more Asians up in there.

Here are all the installments so far of Fear the Walking Dead Flight 462:

That character on that TV show is still alive.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

It's been a rather long month for fans of The Walking Dead. But last night, we finally learned that the thing that seemingly happened to that one character did not quite happen as we were led to believe.

Perfunctory spoiler warnings apply. Though honestly, that seems rather silly. If it's being discussed on this website, you must have a pretty good idea of who and what I'm talking about...

What the f*ck just happened on The Walking Dead?

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

I've dreaded writing this post for the last three years. I've desperately hoped this day wouldn't arrive. On last night's episode of The Walking Dead, fans of the hit AMC zombie drama suffered a heartbreaking, devastating blow as one of the show's most beloved characters was seemingly killed off.

You probably already know who I'm talking about. SPOILERS BELOW, YOU FOOLS.

Proof that Glenn & Maggie are the hottest couple on TV

If your favorite Walking Dead couple took engagement photos, this is how they would look

Whoooooeeeee! Fans of Glenn and Maggie on The Walking Dead will get a kick out of this. Los Angeles magazine has posted a gorgeous spring fashion spread featuring Steven Yeun and Lauren Cohan, who play your favorite post-apocalyptic couple on AMC's hit zombie drama.

Dapped out in lively florals and subtle pastels, and re-imagined as a hopeful couple before the undead uprising, Glenn and Maggie clean up quite nicely. If the couple took engagement photos (instead of being busy bashing in walker skulls and scavenging for food and supplies to stay alive), this is what they might look like.

Hot. See the rest of the photos here.

Screen Gems acquires Mike Le's zombie script Patient Zero

Studio wins bidding war for undead action thriller.

Some cool movie news, just in time for Halloween... After duking it out in a bidding war, Screen Gems has acquired Mike Le's highly sought-after zombie feature script Patient Zero: Screen Gems Wins Bidding War for Mike Le's Zombie Script 'Patient Zero.'

Described as a character-driven action thriller, Patient Zero is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a man with the special ability to speak to the undead sets out to find a cure to save his infected wife.

According to The Wrap, bidding was apparently pretty competitive before Screen Gems got their hands on the script, which is described as having a "rich mythology" with strong potential to "reinvent the zombie genre." And we all know zombies are hot right now. I'm in.

this week's crazy-ass episode of the walking dead

Hell yes for The Walking Dead fans. For your information, this week's totally insane, game-changing, all-hell-breaks-loose episode was written by Sang Kyu Kim. You can thank him for crushing your soul with that nut-kick of an hour.

Honestly, this post is just my excuse to post a totally bitchin' animated .gif of Steven Yeun as Glenn, most skillfully slicing a zombie's head off:
