Wong Fu, Far East Movement and ISA are searching for the next generation of digital creators.



Hey, filmmakers! Are you ready to show your stuff? Wong Fu Productions, Far East Movement, and International Secret Agents are proud to present the 1st annual ISA Digital Film Shootout.

To discover and support the next generation of digital creators, they're putting out an open call to individuals around the nation to submit their work in a variety of short categories, including narrative drama, narrative comedy, documentary, vlogger/personality and music video.

ISA! Charity Basketball Game 2015

Friday, May 29 at Mark Keppel High School in Alhambra



If you are in the Los Angeles area -- 626 represent! -- our friends at International Secret Agents, Wong Fu Productions, Far East Movement, and The Fung Bros invite you to eh 2015 ISA! Charity Basketball Game. The event will feature lots of familiar fan-favorite faces and will benefit Nepal Disaster Relief and the Autistic Self Advocacy Network. It's happening Friday, May 29 at Mark Keppel High School in Alhambra.

It's springtime, and I'm in the thick of it juggling a bunch of different projects, but I cannot forget to post about the newly released second episode of Angry Asian America, my web talk show with the good folks at ISAtv.

We're still working things out, but it's coming along quite nicely. In this episode, my kickass co-host Jenny Yang and I are joined by rapper/actor Dumbfoundead and Lanie Alabanza-Barcena of Hellz Bellz. We talk about bullying amongst Asian American teens, supermoms and Asians behaving badly, among other things.

An adoptee reunites with his birth family in 'aka DAN'

Documentary webseries and music album chronicles Dan Matthews' return to Korea



Last summer, musician Dan Matthews embarked on a journey that changed his life. Dan, a Korean American adoptee who grew up in California, went on a search for his birth parents... and found them. He not only tracked down his biological family in South Korea, where he traveled to meet them for the first time, Dan also discovered that he also has a twin brother. Needless to say, it was an identity-altering trip.

And the cameras were rolling. aka Dan is a documentary webseries following Dan's journey to Korea to attend the International Korean Adoptee Association, performing his first live concert in Korea, and of course, his reunion with his birth family. The first episode has dropped on ISAtv. First, here's the trailer:

Our friends in ISA just launched ISA! (please note the exclamation point) their take on the Asian American Variety Game Show. If you've seen shows like this from Asia, you'll be familiar with the format. Great idea. They've recruited the likes of Freddie Wong, Wong Fu Productions, KevJumba, Brandon Laatsch, Clara C, Ally Maki, Mike Song, Anthony Lee, Jen (FrmHeadToToe), and David Choi, and it's a lot of fun.
