After 'Fresh Off The Boat," join us for Fresh Off The Show

The Unofficial Live Online Post-Show, Tuesdays at 8:35PM PST on YouTube

Based on the numbers, it appears that America is watching Fresh Off The Boat. The ABC sitcom, starring your new favorite Asian American family, has been turning up some solid audience ratings since its premiere, even when up against some pretty heavy competition in its Tuesday time slot, including NCIS and The Voice.

In this week's episode, Eddie is excited to meet a new classmate -- another Chinese kid! -- played by guest star Albert Tsai (the breakout kid star of ABC's Trophy Wife). This could be a the beginning of a two-man Asian crew at Abraham Lincoln Middle School, but they soon learn that they have absolutely nothing in common.

Here's a preview of this week's show:

YouTube celebrity thanks parents by paying off their mortgage

Tim, a rapper and comedian whose YouTube channel has more than 2.4 million subscribers, dropped out of college five years ago to pursue a career in entertainment. This probably wasn't Mr. and Mrs. Chantarangsu's preferred plan for their son, but he reassured them that he would make it big and pay off the house.

Looks like he made good on that promise:

You know them from such hits as "All I Do Is Hustle" and "Hooked On Money."

According to authorities, the three men were going door-to-door posing as pamphleteers last month when they forced their way into the victim's home and attacked him, threatening his 2-year-old daughter. The suspects eventually made off with $2,000 cash, a laptop, an iPad and two handguns, but thankfully, nobody was hurt.

Here's the crazy part. According to the search warrant affidavit, just a few days after the robbery, the victim was watching YouTube when he came across a rap video featuring his three alleged attackers:

George Takei's Next Step in World Domination: YouTube

Takei's Take teaches tech to an older generation.

In recent years, George Takei has pretty much solidified his status as an elder statesman for the Asian American community. Who would have thought that the guy best known for playing Sulu on Star Trek -- an iconic identity in its own right -- would go on to become the most famous, most active senior American on social media?

But that's why Takei's Take, his new webseries in partnership with AARP, make so much sense.

On Takei's Take, the 76-year-old social media superstar explores the world of technology, trends, current events and pop culture. Of course, he's hoping his entire legion of fans will watch it, but the YouTube show is definitely aimed to encourage the over-50 set to embrace next generation technology. And Uncle George, with his sweet, sweet voice, can be the guy who will help guide them there.

Here's the trailer for Takei's Take:

YOMYOMF presents David Henry Hwang's Yellow Face

Yellow Face, YOMYOMF's screen adaptation of the award-winning play by David Henry Hwang, premiered over the weekend exclusively on YouTube in two parts. And it's pretty fantastic.

Directed by Jeff Liu, and starring Ryun Yu, Christopher Gorham, Linda Park, Sab Shimono, Emily Kuroda, Ki Hong Lee and Justin James Hughes, the play follows the misadventures of an Asian American playwright named DHH, who leads the protest against the yellow face casting, only to mistakenly cast a Caucasian actor in an Asian role in his own play. Dude, that sucks.

"gangnam style" is the most viewed video of all time

Forget Red Dawn. The real invasion has already begun, and it started with a crazy little something called "Gangnam Style." Sometime over the weekend, the runaway international pop hit became the most watched YouTube video of all time: Psy's "Gangnam Style" video becomes YouTube's most viewed.

It's official. With over a staggering 800 million views, South Korean rap star Psy's staggeringly successful k-pop track surpassed Justin Bieber's 2010 music video for "Baby" to take the top spot. Incredible, considering the video was only uploaded to YouTube back in July. And in case you're the last person who hasn't seen it:
