imaginasian's new theater

I mentioned this when the deal was first struck... Asian American multimedia company ImaginAsian has plans to revitalize the old Linda Lea Theater in downtown Los Angeles, which has been boarded up for the last twenty years, into a new theater specializing in Asian and Asian American cinema: Curtain rises again in Little Tokyo. It'll be downtown Los Angeles' first new theater in more than twenty years. Demolition was completed recently, and they've been uncovering quite a few interesting relics from the theater's past. The new theater, the ImaginAsian Center, is scheduled to open late in the summer.
