ah, the old shoelace blindfold joke

In New Zealand, a high profile police detective was under investigation by police colleagues for making racist remarks at an Asian police conference. Detective Senior Sergeant Neil Grimstone apparently suggested "people who could be blindfolded with a shoelace" could not be trusted: High profile detective apologises for racist remarks. For those of you who don't get the joke, he means us. Us shifty, sneaky Asians and our slanted, chinky eyes. Guess he still remembers that joke from elementary school. You know who really can't be trusted? Idiot bigots in law enforcement. That's racist!
