new asian american tv channel: myx

My pal Marian Liu of the San Jose Mercury News writes about MYX, a new satellite TV channel that recently jumped into the messy fray of television programming aimed towards Asian American audiences: In the MYX. Based in Philippines and carried by DirecTV, it attempts to succeed where other similar ventures have failed. For those keeping score, we've now got MYX, while AZN and ImaginAsian seem to still be hanging in there, and the MTV channels (Chi, K and Desi) have gotten axe. Something's gotta stick... sooner or later.
