wingmen, a comedy about asian guys in america

Marie Yuen tells me that Wingmen, "a new comedy about Asian guys in America," has been officially accepted in the Chicago Comedy TV Pilot Competition, and will be one of the pilots featured at the 10th Annual Chicago Shorts and Video Film Festival this summer. Basically, Wingmen is a TV series they've been developing for a while, with the hopes of the getting a positive depiction out there of Asian guys as regular dudes. At this point, they're doing what they can to raise money and get the word out there about this project... and hopefully turn it into something that goes beyond just one episode.
