hello kitty: the mark of shame

Weird, but funny. In Thailand, police officers who break the rules will be forced to wear hot pink armbands featuring "Hello Kitty" as a mark of shame: Bad Thai cops to endure Kitty shame. Cops caught littering, parking in prohibited areas, or arriving late, among other violations, will be forced to stay in the division office and wear the armband all day. Stay in the office all day? Why not make them wear the armbands outside, on the streets, on patrol! A little public humiliation, Hello Kitty style, might do wonders for police conduct. Hell, I can think of a few U.S. cities' police departments that might benefit from this program.
