search for annie le continues

Some new developments in the case of missing Yale graduate student Annie Le, who disappeared just days before her wedding, which was supposed to take place this weekend... Authorities are now directing their search at an incinerator in Hartford, "following the trash" that left the university laboratory in New Haven: Search for Yale student turns to Conn. incinerator.

Le, a doctoral student in pharmacology, was last seen Tuesday morning, where she swiped her identification card to enter the lab. But there's no record of her leaving, despite some 75 surveillance cameras around the complex. Her ID, money, credit cards and purse were found in her office.

More than a hundred state, local and federal law enforcement agencies are looking for her but haven't yet determined if Le's disappearance is a missing person's case or an act of foul play. At some point this weekend, authorities had to officially deny reports that a body had been found: Search Continues For Yale Student

But they've apparently recovered evidence. Some media outlets even reported that bloody clothes found in the ceiling of the lab building: Police: Bloody clothes found at student's lab. But they're apparently not hers: Reports: Bloody clothes not Le's (then who the hell do they belong to?!)

Whatever the case, it's looking really shady. No record of her leaving, valuables left behind, somebody else's bloody clothes, investigators searching through incinerators -- none of this points to good news.

Yale is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to Annie Le's whereabouts, and released this information:
