trailer for van m. pham's beyond the mat

Came across this trailer a while ago, and have been meaning to write about it: Beyond the Mat, an indie drama about high school wrestling directed by Van M. Pham and starring John Wynn. (This movie was previously known as Nearfall.)

It's a pretty decent trailer that hits all the right notes for a cheesy teen sports drama (even throwing in the theme from Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story at the end there). Heck, I'd watch this.

I don't know much else about the film, except that the project was an official screenplay selection at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival, and it's scheduled to hit screens sometime in 2010. Check here for updates.
