vote for the center for the pacific asian family

Please watch this video with Alison De La Cruz, speaking on behalf of the Center for the Pacific Asian Family, then vote for CPAF in Chase Community Giving on Facebook. You could help the organization win a million dollars. (Yes, I will be posting one of these every day this week... until you all vote.)

While momentum seems to be gathering, as it stands, the Center for the Pacific Asian Family is at number 16 in the rankings with 7067 votes. It needs a lot of help to win. Let me be clear: you do not need to give any money. All you have to do is click a button on Facebook. It literally takes seconds.

Also, if you're in Southern California, join AA EOW and Kollaboration this Wednesday, January 20 at Wokcano in Santa Monica to celebrate CPAF being selected as a finalist in the Chase Community Giving program. It's a chill get-together for folks to celebrate and raise awareness about the voting. For more information, go to the Facebook event page here.

No one can deny that CPAF does important work for the community -- life-saving work. But due to cuts in funding, that work will seriously be hampered. CPAF is only the organization that provides multilingual hotlines and emergency shelters for the APA community in Los Angeles County. What happens when no one is on the other end of the line, and victims and survivors have no one else to turn to? Vote.
