apa public service/community career panel


Short notice, but I wanted to help get the word out about this APA career panel and networking reception happening Wednesday evening in New York, sponsored by the Coalition for Asian American Children & Families (CACF) Action Council and NYU Wagner Asian Pacific American Student Alliance. Here's some more information:
Asian Pacific Americans in Public Service and the Community Career Panel and Networking Reception

Are you a student or mid-career professional interested in working in the non-profit or public sector? Asian Pacific Islander panelists in a variety of public service professions -- such as nonprofit management, elected office, and philanthropy -- will discuss their careers and unique experiences of being Asian Pacific Islander in these fields. Followed by a networking reception and opportunity to talk with the panelists.

Featured speakers:

- Margaret Chin, New York City Council Member, District 1
- Steven Choi, Executive Director of MinKwon Center for Community Action (formerly YKASEC)
- C.K. Chung, Senior Account Manager, NYC Business Solutions, Seedco
- Anita Gundanna, Deputy Director, Fund for Social Change
