glee looking for "filipina or hispanic" maid

I know a lot of you are Glee fans, so you might be interested in this small bit of casting news... EW.com briefly mentions that Fox's hit high school musical is looking for "a fiftysomething Filipina or Hispanic actress" to play the recurring role of Amelda, Sue maid: Amrchair Casting Director: 'Glee'.

Based on Sue Sylvester's coaching style, her maid is likely going to take a lot of abuse. I like Glee. It's a fun show. But I'm tired of the beleaguered ethnic domestic worker stereotype. I'm hoping the smart writing on Glee will do something to turn this cliche on its head. Is that too much to ask?
