woman killed in rave shooting

Heard about this news late last week... Last weekend in South El Monte, California, 26-year-old Clara Myung Hee Chun was shot and killed at a warehouse party. Three Asian men between were also reportedly wounded, with one in critical condition: 1 killed, 3 injured in South El Monte shooting.

According to police, the motivation for the shooting appears to be an altercation that broke out among some of the partygoers:
According to the Star-News the dead woman was identified as Clara Myung Hee Chun, 26, of San Gabriel. Sheriff's officials said three men between the ages of 18 and 30 were also wounded when gunfire broke out at the party in an industrial complex in the 2300 block of Chico Avenue about 2:45 a.m.

Authorities said about 30 people were at the event and that a few -- perhaps "several" -- fights broke out before the shooting occurred. ABC7 reported that two men opened fire and "got away."

Several people had been detained, according to sheriff's officials, and Chico Avenue remained closed Saturday afternoon as authorities investigated.
