yakuza video game played and reviewed by actual yakuza

Saw this on Boing Boing and thought it was pretty awesome... Earlier this year, Sega USA released Yakuza 3, the U.S. version of the popular yakuza simulation/action game Ryu Ga Gotoku 3. The player takes on the role of Kazama Kiryu, a former yakuza boss and legendary enforcer, and goes on a little Japanese gangster video game adventure. Sure, fun stuff -- but is it real?

Here, they put a PlayStation in front of some real life yakuza guys and asked them to play the game, missing fingers and all. Then, they got their reactions to the game's depiction of yakuza life. Did they get it right? For the most part, yes. It's a pretty fascinating conversation: Yakuza 3 reviewed by Yakuza.
