The Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence, New England's only non-profit organization dedicated to preventing domestic violence in Asian families and communities, and providing hope to survivors, invites you to its annual benefit, Silk Road Gala 2010, an evening of auctions, chef stations and entertainment. WHO:
The Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to prevent domestic violence in Asian families and communities and to provide hope to survivors.

WHAT:
The 17th annual Silk Road Gala 2010
Featuring star chef Ming Tsai, Executive Producer and host of public television's "Simply Ming," chef/owner of Blue Ginger Restaurant, and cookbook author, as this year's Gala Chair. Other local celebrity chefs joining Tsai, are Joanne Chang of Myers + Chang and Flour Bakery + Cafe, Jody Adams of Rialto,Ting San of Oishii Boston, Michael Schlow of Via Matta, Radius and Alta Strada, and Jasper White of Summer Shack along with Executive Chef Didier Montarou and Chef de Cuisine David Chinta of InterContinental Boston at this upcoming fundraising benefit.

HOW:
The annual Silk Road Gala 2010 is a fundraising benefit for ATASK, the only provider of culturally and linguistically appropriate shelter and support services for Asian survivors of domestic violence and their children in Massachusetts and New England, as well as nationally-recognized teen domestic violence prevention and youth empowerment programs. For domestic violence victims who are unsafe, helpless, and hopeless, ATASK offers a safe haven, help and hope over fear. ATASK is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to prevent domestic violence in Asian families and communities and to provide hope to survivors.
