Uh... wow. I suppose it had to happen sooner or later. Got this crazy press release passed along to me the other day, announcing that pre-production has started on Bruce Lee XXX: A Porn Parody. That's right. Bruce Lee, the porno, starring Asian adult superstar Keni Styles as the X-rated version of the Dragon himself.It's like Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story... the Porno. The movie will feature parody scenes from Game of Death, Enter the Dragon and The Green Hornet TV show, as well as porn actors playing real-life characters from Bruce Lee's life, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Steven McQueen, John Saxon, Faye Dunaway, and even Lee's wife Linda:
The movie will star Asian adult superstar Keni Styles in the title role, and will be distributed starting July 20th by the world's leading adult film studio, Vivid Entertainment.I'm not in the habit of posting stuff about adult entertainment... but it's Bruce, and I couldn't resist. I'm surprised what you can get away with as long as you clearly call it a "porn parody" -- especially since many of the characters they're depicting are actually still alive. I imagine that Bruce Lee Enterprises, which keeps a tight fist on the licensing of Bruce Lee's likeness, isn't very happy about this. (Thanks, N'jaila.)
