Do you want to be the change in your community? This Saturday, October 1, join fellow youth, students, professionals, activists, and agents for Be the Change 2011, a national day of service coordinated by South Asian Americans Leading Together, held on campuses and in cities across the country.

The event is based on Mahatma Gandhi's inspirational quote, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world," and provides opportunities for South Asians and allies to give back to their communities. Here are many of the locations hosting Be the Change this year:
