Chinese actress Li Bingbing, who recently starred in movies like Snow Flower and the Secret Fan and Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame, has reportedly been cast as Ada Wong in Resident Evil: Retribution: Li Bingbing Cast as Ada Wong in Resident Evil: Retribution.Somehow, they keep coming up with reasons to make yet another Resident Evil flick. According to video game lore, Ada Wong -- not to be confused with The Biggest Loser contestant -- is a secret agent for a mysterious and power group known as the "Organization." Star Milla Jovovich announced the character's casting over Twitter:
"G'mornin every1! Well, I have some news that a lot of u will be interested in! We have finally cast our Ada Wong! Drum roll please! So, Ada Wong in RE5 is being played by Chinese actress Li Bingbing! We're so excited!"There wasn't a whole lot I liked about Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, but I did think Li Bingbing was quite good. I do wonder if the role will require her to wear that extra leggy red cheongsam, which we all know is the appropriate wardrobe for running around, shooting machine guns and general everyday ass kicking.
