call for entries: aaiff 2012

Attention filmmakers! This year, New York's Asian American International Film Festival, the first and longest-running festival dedicated to screening works of Asian descent, is celebrating its landmark 35th anniversary. And they're calling on you to submit your film. They're accepting works of all shapes and sizes. Here are some more details:
SUBMISSION CATEGORIES:
Narrative Feature, Documentary Feature, Short Film, Music Video, Work-in-Progress, Youth Film (made by filmmakers under the age of 21)

AWARD CATEGORIES:
Emerging Director (narrative feature filmmaker), Emerging Director (documentary feature filmmaker), Excellence in Short Filmmaking, Audience Choice (feature-length film), Youth Vision One-to-Watch Award

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Work must have been completed after Jan. 1, 2011.
2. One of the following must be of Asian descent: director, writer, producer, or principle actor.
3. For feature length films only, AAIFF screening must be at minimum a New York City premier.
4. Additional qualifications by submission category available online at Withoutabox.

DEADLINE TO ENTER
Early deadline (postmarked): February 2, 2012
Final deadline (postmarked): March 7, 2012
Work-in-Progress deadline: May 2, 2012
