wong fu webseries: home is where the hans are

The guys from Wong Fu Production recently launched "Home is Where the Hans Are," a new webseries in four parts, produced in association with FremantleMedia. It's about a typical modern American family... though perhaps not like any family you'll typically see on television. Check out the trailer:

And here's Episode 1, in which we meet the family:

The series stars Jamie Nocher, Ellen Wong, Major Cuda, Julie Lancaster, Randall Park and Emmanuel Borria. Here's some more background from Wong Fu on how this project and partnership with FremantleMedia came together:
Our goal with this series is to show a general audience who might not be used to seeing Asians as a typical TV family, that seeing our faces in these roles should not be strange. We have a place among everyone else and we can all get along and make great content.

We're excited to be working with FremantleMedia who sees the potential for Asian Americans in the mainstream media. We hope you can share and support this new project. The more views the higher chance this might actually be turned into a TV show! How awesome would that be?! Thanks!
Interesting. Does this have potential for future development into a TV show? It's possible. Keep watching, and we'll see where this goes. New episodes will be released once a week.
