Last seen in class at York Mills Collegiate Institute, then later photographed at a bank, her disappearance sparked a massive police search, as well as pleas from her family and friends for a safe return. On Monday, upon arrive home, she apologized for the concern she caused: Toronto teen Michelle Yu sorry for disappearance.
"To the media, my friends, my family, my schoolmates, to my fellow Girl Guides and the greater community, I can't thank you guys enough for all your well wishes, your concerns, and all your prayers and your love and your support," Yu told reporters from the steps of her North York home in the York Mills and Leslie area.I don't know what happened. Kind of sounds like she just took off, for whatever reason. I'm certainly glad she's okay... but it's not cool to put your loved ones through that kind of worry. "From the bottom of my heart, I'm so sorry for putting everybody through this," she added. "I'm just so happy to be home with my family, my parents,... my friends. I'm just glad to be back."
