The Chinese-American Planning Council's (CPC) Walkathon is back in New York City. This year's theme is "One Community. One Goal. Walk For Our Future." On July 22nd, it will begin in Columbus Park in Chinatown at 9 AM. Walkers will cross the Brooklyn Bridge, and then return to the park for the Family Day Fair. Save the date!Register here. CPC's Walkathon is a biennial event that brings out the community for healthy activity, raises funds for the various social services that CPC provides, and showcases the wonderful work being done in the community. The 2010 Walkathon raised over $120,000 and 3,000 walkers.
