angry reader of the week: vivian foung

Once again, it is time to meet the Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's Angry Reader is Vivian Foung.

Who are you?
Hello! My name is Vivian.

What are you?
Half Asian. A recent college graduate. And a whole host of other things as well, but there are too many to go into here.

Where are you?
Right now I'm just sitting at home on a comfy couch, with a cup of tea. Life is good sometimes.

Where are you from?
Westchester, NY (Both Upstate and NOT-Upstate, depending on whether or not you live in NYC).

What do you do?
I work at the Asian American International Film Festival. It's quite fun. I'd advise you to check it out if you like film, and/or if you like anything Asian (but especially if you like both). Sometimes we even give away free tickets!

What are you all about?
Peace. My favorite quote is "Peace is joy at rest, and joy is peace on its feet", from Anne LaMott. Go get yourself some joy and peace.

What makes you angry?
Racism. I know a lot of people say this, but for good reason. I don't think racism will ever truly disappear, but I'm hoping that one day I can look back and say, "Wow! People are so much kinder to each other now than they were 50 years ago."
