new music: found in translation: the songs of kazuo zaitsu

Found in Translation is a collection of classic Japanese songs reinterpreted by western artists from various genres, produced by Dave Liang of The Shanghai Restoration Project. The first project in this collection focuses on the works of iconic singer and coposer Kazuo Zaitsu.

Here's the lead single from the project, "September Tea" featuring singer/songwriter Emi Meyer -- who we love around here -- and inspired by Kazuo Zaitsu's "September." Check it out:

Happy September. Listen to the original song in Japanese here. If you like the track, you can download Found in Translation from iTunes and Amazon.
