Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles, April 9-14



This is for all you film fans in Los Angeles. Tickets are now on sale for the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles, happening April 9-14 at ArcLight Hollywood. From highly anticipated adaptations like Midnight's Children, to powerful documentaries like Beyond All Boundaries and Salma, to an eclectic selection fo shorts, the 2013 IFFLA lineup has something for everyone.




Things kick off Tuesday, April 9 with the Opening Night Gala screening of Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur, Part I, followed by Part II on April 10 -- a gritty, epic tale chronicling three generations of honor and vengeance between feuding families, set during India's tumultuous independence and industrialization.



After six days of film screenings and industry events, parties and panel discussions, IFFLA will conclude with the official festival awards ceremony and the Los Angeles premiere of acclaimed director Deepa Mehta's Midnight's Children, an adaptation of Salman Rushdie's beloved novel.
