New Bruce Lee exhibit opens October 4 at The Wing in Seattle



This is for all my fellow Bruce fans in Seattle... The Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience presents Do You Know Bruce? -- a new exhibit on the life and legacy of international martial arts icon Bruce Lee. Sure, you've seen his movies, and you know he had the moves, but there's so much more to his story, which has a unique local connection to the city of Seattle.

The exhibit officially opens on October 4, with some awesome events to kick off the festivities. Here's a short promo video for Do You Know Bruce?:

Do You Know Bruce? Opening Day

Join us in celebrating the opening of Do You Know Bruce? Admission by timed ticketing, available for purchase online and onsite. Book your tickets in advance online to guarantee your spot.

The day will be filled with exciting programming such as:

10am - Opening remarks by daughter Shannon Lee and widow Linda
Unprecedented group lion dance performance on King Street

1pm - Phil Yu (aka Angry Asian Man and also the exhibition's text writer), introducing the martial arts demo by the Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute of Seattle

2:30pm - Mike Stone, martial artist, choreographer, author, and motivational speaker, to give a presentation about his experience in the entertainment industry, his friendship with Bruce Lee, and how you can reach your dreams today. Included with admission, reserve seats through Visitor Services (206.623.5124 x 0)

Photobooth fun, scavenger hunt, and much more!
