Behold, as three awesome performers combine forces for a really cool television moment. Last night, Stephen Colbert welcomed celebrated ballerina Misty Copeland to jam with famed cellist Yo-Yo Ma on The Late Show. The result was a gorgeous performance set to the Courante from Bach's "Cello Suite No. 2."
Check it out:
Copeland, who is incredible, made headlines earlier this year when she became the first black principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre. And Yo-Yo Ma, of course, is Yo-Yo Ma.
Pretty darn highbrow for late night TV. I love it.
