I'm Phil Yu, founder and editor of Angry Asian Man. As of this month, I have been running this website for 18 years. It's been a wild, surprising journey full of triumphs and setbacks, but ultimately, I just feel honored and privileged that I somehow get to do this for a living. It's not easy, but it's a calling. I run this blog almost entirely by myself, doing the best I can with the help of an intrepid Angry Asian Intern and love from my extended Angry community. And, of course, the generous support of readers like you.
So... here we are again, where I ask for your help. It's the 2019 Stay Angry Subscriber Drive!
Each month, I spend hundreds of hours putting in the research, writing and administration behind running Angry Asian Man, as well as recording, producing and editing They Call Us Bruce, the podcast I co-host with Jeff Yang. I love it, but it does come with a significant set of costs to sustain -- in time, money and energy. In addition, there are those pesky everyday issues of paying rent, gas, groceries, insurance, etc. Grown-up stuff.
