The New York Times has an interesting article on a range of Asian American music artists—the bulk of whom we've mentioned here over the years—trying to break into the mainstream: Trying to Crack the Hot 100. All this talent out there... so why haven't they made it? What's holding them back, keeping them down? Sadly, it's the "Asian thing."
