apa activist training and midwest summit

Midwest friends! I want to make one last push for this weekend's APA Activist Training and Midwest Summit, sponsored by Asian Pacific Americans for Progress, happening Saturday, August 4th in Chicago. Join fellow progressive Asian Pacific American activists, student leaders, community leaders, volunteers from throughout the midwest and learn the basic tools of organizing including volunteer recruitment, planning events, targeting, phonebanking and other useful campaign skills. The training will be led by Parag Mehta, Director of Training at the Democratic National Committee, along with Eric Byler and other special guests.
