one way, or "the other": asian american film and video

This is a really cool film series happening right now in Berkeley: One Way, or "the Other": Asian American Film and Video. The Berkeley Art Museum & Pacific Film Archive present a nine-part film and video series tracking the evolution of Asian American film, from Wayne Wang's Chan Is Missing to Gina Lim's Invisible Light. Lots of early works from filmmakers like Gregg Araki, Jon Moritsugu, Justin Lin, Quentin Lee, Shu Lea Cheang... all pioneers in their own right. There's also an Asian American art exhibit happening at the Museum: One Way or Another: Asian American Art Now. The series runs through December 12. You've already missed Living on Tokyo Time and Invisible Light, but you can still catch stuff like Shopping for Fangs and Chan Is Missing. Check it out.
