lodestone after dark: the beginning of the end

It's the beginning of the end for Lodestone. If you're in Southern California, the award-winning Asian American theatre ensemble will kick off its tenth and final season, "Beginnings and Endings: 2008-09 Tenth Anniversary Season," with a special benefit performance, Lodestone After Dark: The Beginning of the End, running one weekend only, December 11-14 in Burbank.

Lodestone After Dark: The Beginning of the End is a cabaret-style show which will feature comedy sketches and musical numbers to celebrate Lodestone's ten years and launch the company's final season of shows before it closes its doors at the end of 2009.

Some of Lodestone's celebrity friends will making appearances on select evenings during the run of the show, including John Cho, David Ono, George Takei, Sung Kang, Roger Fan, Kaba Modern's Yuri Tag and Fysh N' Chicks' Taeko Collins, Gedde Watanabe, James Kyson Lee and other surprise guests.

It's all happening Thursday through Sunday, Decmeber 11-14 at GTC Burbank. All proceeds will benefit Lodestone's tenth and final season. For more information about the show, and Lodestone's upcoming productions, visit their website here and their MySpace profile here.
