law enforcement presentation to address attacks on asians

Got some important info passed along to me... This Thursday in Pennsylvania, law enforcement officials are inviting the public, particularly the Asian American community, to attend a presentation concerning the recent and ongoing victimization of Asian American business owners in the Delaware Valley. They will be discussing:
  • list of crimes that have been brought to law enforcement's attention (dates, times, locations, etc)
  • a description of the methods, modus operandi, being utilized by the suspects/accused to perpetrate these crimes (surveillance, profiling, weapons, violence)
  • what law enforcement is doing to investigate, prevent further attacks/victimization
  • what steps potential victims can take to prevent a possible attack in the future
Law enforcement leaders from multiple counties (Montgomery, Delaware and Philadelphia) will be present at the meeting to answer questions and concerns from the public and the media.

It's this Thursday, January 15, starting at 2:00pm at the Delaware County Community College, Marple Campus, 901 South Media Line Road, Media, PA 19063-1094, in the Academic Building, Room 2225. Question concerning this meeting may be directed to Delaware County Assistant District Attorney Michael Mattson 610-891-6089.
