Happy Valentine's Day, whatever that means to you. Longtime readers of this website know that today actually marks another big milestone -- the eighth anniversary of Angry Asian Man. Eight years ago today, I launched the first incarnation of this website, kicking off some crazy times.
Eight years! It makes me feel a bit like a dinosaur in the blog game. When I first started this site, I honestly didn't know what the hell I was doing, or why anyone would want to read it, but it's grown into something that I never anticipated, with lots of struggles and triumphs along the way. And I've had an absolute blast.
So thank you to all that have made this blog possible. All you readers and supporters. All the people who have written in with ideas, suggestions, and links. All of the great folks I've been able to meet over the years, and have helped out with the cause along the way. I am thankful for all of you.
As for the haters, thank you too. Bring it. In a way, you've also shaped this blog -- and me -- over the last eight years. I figure if I can get this many people angry, I must be doing something right. Right? And for all the people currently finding their way to the blog while searching for "i am extremely terrified of chinese people," uh.. sorry. I hope you find what you're looking for.
So let's keep this going, all right? I've got some great things planned for this year -- some new features, events and shenanigans. But mainly, I'm just going to keep doing what I do, and have fun doing it. Can you dig it? Stay Angry.
