For those of you in Southern California, here's an interesting event happening this weekend: the 4th Annual Talent 1 Media Film Festival. The festival's goal is to raise awareness and focus on issues of human trafficking and modern day slavery.
Like last year, it's a one-day event that will premiere ten original short films, feature live outdoor music from Elements of the Outer Realm and DJ Sean B, and an Awareness Resource area. This year, they've added free workshops and seminars on human trafficking and filmmaking. Check it:
