students activists! be recognized!

This is for all of you who are (or know) awesome student activists. And I know there are a lot of you out there. Mother Jones, Campus Progress and WireTap would like to hear about all feats of student activist -- the more creative the better -- from the past school year in time for the Hellraisers, their first annual student activism awards.

Basically, you tell them about your favorite activism antics (that took place between June 1, 2008, and June 30,n 2009). Selected nominees will be featured in the September/October 2009 issue of Mother Jones. Anyone can nominate any current student activists (this includes college, high school, grad students, kindergartners -- all okay).

I just know that a lot of cool, intelligent Asian American students doing amazing things are reading this -- why not be recognized? Nominating is quick and easy. But you have to act fast, because the deadline is June 10, 9:00am PST. Fill out the nomination form here: Calling All Campus Hellraisers!
