to hell with human trafficking

Eugene Cho, founder and lead pastor of Quest Church in Seattle, has a good post on the Sojourners blog about human trafficking and slavery. With sources citing an estimated 27 million slaves -- largely victims of sex trafficking, including young children -- around the world, I think the title of Eugene's post makes it pretty obvious where he stands on the matter: To Hell with Human Trafficking. There, I Said It..

Enough is enough. He argues that there are times when the church needs to have a deeper anger about the grave injustices of the world -- particularly when it involves the exploitation of children -- and this is certainly one of them. Otherwise, faith is reduced to "convenient and self-serving pleasantries." Hell yeah. You can read more from Eugene Cho at his blog here.
