If you were one of the millions of fans watching the Michael Jackson memorial ceremony today, you might be curious about the woman who was singing lead on "Heal the World." I heard from a bunch of folks asking if I knew who the "Asian-looking" singer was.

The mystery singer was Judith Hill, a vocalist who was recruited to be one of the backup singers for Jackson's This Is It! concerts in London: Judith Hill: "Heal The World" Singer From Jackson Memorial Revealed.

Based in Pasadena, California, she's a half-Japanese, half-Black singer/songwriter who was working on an album when she got the chance to join Michael Jackson's tour earlier this year. Learn more at her website here, and hear some songs on her MySpace page here.
