The above photo was snapped at Yummy's Restaurant in New York's Chinatown. The t-shirt, which all the wait staff apparently wears, is for sale for $15. The parody of the Delicious Vinyl logo is inspired -- I love it.
But upon closer inspection, what the hell is wrong with this caricature's eyes? And why has the face been given buck teeth? (The original Delicious Vinyl guy has at least four teeth.) It's an unsettling, oddly racialized caricature.
