third annual hate crimes prevention art exhibit



Every summer, OCA-New York hosts the Hate Crimes Prevention Art Contest. Now in its third year, the competition is coordinated and developed by New York City college and high school students, with the intent to engage local youth in the matter of hate crime prevention.

Next week, you're invited to the third annual Hate Crimes Prevention Art Exhibit, a showcase of New York City high school student artwork. It's happening Tuesday, August 4 at Brooklyn Borough Hall. Read on for the evening's details:

Featuring musical performances, speeches by community leaders and elected officials, and the announcement of the Hate Crimes Prevention Art Contest winners!
