East Villagers is a relatively new online community dedicated to sharing the life-changing stories and lending support to nonprofit organizations and individuals engaging in humanitarian work in Asia and around the world.

East Villagers allows users to share experiences with friends and family through blogs, images, and videos. Through these first hand experiences, villagers can inspire others to make a difference.

Right now, they're currently encouraging users to take part in the East Villagers Thanksgiving Points Challenge: You Donate Points, EV Donates $10K. Got points? East Villagers members earn points through their various interactions with the community/site.

A week before Thanksgiving, you'll have an opportunity to donate points to your favorite charities. The top 15 charities with the most points will receive a total donation of 10,000 dollars from the Ping and Amy Chao Foundation which sponsors East Villagers. First place gets $2,000.

Point donations don't begin for another month, on November 16, but you can start earning points now. Take a look at who's currently at the Thanksgiving Points Leader Board. Now get to work on earning those points.
