This weekend, SERCAAL 2009, the Southeast Regional Conference of Asian American Leaders, returns to the University of Florida to shed light on issues concerning Asian Pacific American students in the southeastern region of the United States and to encourage and stimulate dialogue.
It's happening October 9-10 at University of Florida's Reitz Union, with the theme of "Collaborate, Challenge, Change." Some of the conference's speakers include Lina Hoshino, Calvin Sun, Jim Toy, Corky Lee and many others, with entertainment from comedian Kate Rigg.
The conference will be a great opportunity for APA student leaders to engage in issues facing the southeast region, and for folks to meet and learn from established APA activists and leaders show share common interests. To learn more, and to register, go to the SERCAAL website here.
