Comic book/animation geeks might appreciate this week's release of Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, the latest DC Universe animated direct-to-DVD feature. When Lex Luthor is elected president, with the Justice League in the service of the government, Batman and Superman must stand against the new regime -- and find themselves marked as disloyal outcasts. I'm looking forward to checking this out.
I mention it here because the feature is directed by award-winning animation director/storyboard artist Sam Liu. With over ten years in animation, he won an Emmy for his work on WB's The Batman, and is co-director on the upcoming Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths animated feature. Check out his blog here.
