asian "mother-in-law" ikea commercial

Hey, another commercial, this time for Ikea, prominently featuring an Asian person! The lady plays the critical mother-in-law... to her son's entertainment unit. Sure, it's a stereotype, but definitely not a stereotype limited to Asian families. Is it me, or have we been seeing a lot of "normal" Asians in TV commercials lately?

UPDATE: I just found out that the "son" in the beginning of the commercial (you only see him for a split second) is played by our friend Raymond J. Lee! Nice, Raymond.
