Honda will discuss various aspects of the legislation, including the status of his Reuniting Families Act. As chairman of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, Rep. Honda brings a unique perspective to the comprehensive immigration reform debate. He will discuss the importance of comprehensive immigration reform to the API community, the need for APIs to mobilize and why passage of legislation to fix our broken immigration system next year is imperative.
Press and community members are welcome to sit in on the conversation. This is part of a continued effort to make sure that Asian Pacific Americans are included in the national dialogue on immigration reform -- a conversation that affects our community now more than ever.
