On Friday, John C. Liu was officially sworn in as New York City's comptroller. A true leader and pioneer, he is the first Asian American elected to citywide office. Needless to say, it was a pretty big deal: A New Comptroller, Cheered by Asian-Americans Declaring a New Era.
