call for entries: dc apa film festival

Calling all filmmakers -- feature, short, narrative, documentary, experimental, whatever... Our friends at the DC APA Film Festival are currently accepting entries for their 11th annual festival program, happening next October. Here's some basic information:

11th Annual DC APA Film Festival

October 7-16, 2010
Washington, DC

The 2010 DC APA Film Festival is currently accepting films for our October 7-16, 2010 program. Films must be directed, produced, or principally acted by Asians or Asian Pacific Americans, even if the subject matter is not Asian. Non-Asian Pacific Americans may enter films if the subject matter is Asian Pacific American or Asian Diaspora related. Preference is given to films produced in North America or in other Countries (outside Asia) with significant Asian Diaspora populations.

Early deadline: April 10
Films submitted by the early deadline will receive a discount on submission fee and earlier consideration by the programming committee.

Regular deadline: May 8
Films must be submitted by the regular submission deadline in order to be considered by the programming committee.
